CNN is reporting that the Israeli government has announced that a ground operation is underway by essentially all branches of the Israeli military: Infantry, armored forces, artillery, and combat engineers, supported by the air force and navy.
I wonder if the world's attention being diverted to the eastern Ukraine has anything to do with the timing.
