Once again demonstrating that they’re the gang who couldn’t even lie straight, White House economic advisor Larry Kudlow went on CNBC this morning and said that Donald Trump was feeling so good that he went to the Oval Office yesterday. Kudlow refused to say whether Trump had bothered to wear a mask during this flagrant violation of his quarantine status, claiming that he “can’t be specific” because, “It’s the work of the top rung of the federal government.”
The White House press office (whoever is left on the job there) promptly said that in fact Trump HADN’T gone to the Oval Office yesterday, although he wanted to do so.
Who knows what the truth is? Given the fact that the White House press office and Larry Kudlow are consistent sources of lies, it’s anybody’s guess.
